Installing the Linksys EG1032/EG1064 Instant Gigabit Network Adapter Driver
on Windows NT 4.0:
1. Power off your PC and install the network card.
2. Turn power on then boot from Windows NT 4.0.
3. Click the "Start" command button, select the "Settings" icon to display
an option list under it.
3. Click the "Control Panel" icon.
4. Double-click the "Network" icon.
5. Select the "Adapters" item, then click the "Add..." button in the
"Network" dialog box.
6. Click the "Have Disk..." button in the "Select Network Adapter" dialog
box.
7. Insert the Driver Diskette in your floppy drive. Enter the full
pathname A:\ of the driver installation information file (OEMSETNT.INF)
in the "Insert Disk" dialog box, then click the OK button.
8. Select "Linksys EG1032/EG1064 Instant Gigabit Network Adapter",
then click the OK button in the "Select OEM Option" dialog box.
9. And then Linksys EG1032/EG1064 Instant Gigabit Network Adapter Setup
dialog box appear, you must specify "Media Type" of the adapter plugged
in your PC. Because netcard detection function does not support in SETUP
program, please make sure these settings match your adapter's
configuration. Otherwise the network ability of Windows NT can not work
properly.
The connection types for EG1032/EG1064 Adapter is

10. To complete network installation, remember to bind the adapter to the
transport drivers by choosing the "Bindings" button from the "Network"
dialog box.
11. Click the "Close" button in the "Network" dialog box.
12. Remove the Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.
13. Restart your computer to initialize the network function.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
