ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Follow the installation procedure for the 3Com EtherLink board.
Copy the ETH.SYS file from the source directory of the driver disk
into the boot disk. This program will replace the program of the
same filename when the installation procedure in the first step is
performed.
Ensure that the CONFIG.SYS file in the boot disk or diskette
contains the following two lines, in the given order:
DEVICE = TE16XP.SYS </d> </w> <packet_int_no>
DEVICE = ETH.SYS
<packet_int_no> is the software interrupt vector number used by the
packet driver program. This can be from 96 to 128.
/d Delay Initial - The driver program will not initialize
the network interface card until the packet driver
program is accessed by its upper layer program.
/w The -w parameter is for use only in the Windows
environment.
See \PKTDRV\README.TXT for addition parameters
You may now reboot and to start 3COM workstation.
