This installation assumes that the adapter is working properly.
Please consult README.TXT for help with setup of the adapter.
Getting Started will describe the installation instructions.
Requirements

An ISA compatible computer
A Netware 4.0x, 4.10, or 4.11 server system
A TE-16XP Ethernet Adapter
A knowledge of basic DOS commands, Netware server commands and
editing text files
Minimum Skill Level
ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ
A knowledge of basic DOS commands
A knowledge of Netware server commands
A knowledge of editing text files
A knowledge of DOS basic file structure (CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT)
A knowledge of the network driver configuration being used

Getting Started

First time installation from the install menu
(for NetWare 4.1x only, for other version see below)
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Start the NetWare Server.
> CD \NWSERVER
> SERVER
Execute "LOAD INSTALL" after booting up. Type,
: LOAD INSTALL
Select "Driver Options", -> "Configure network drivers", and
-> "Select a driver".
Press <Insert> key to install an unlisted driver.
Press <F3> to specify a different <PATH>. <PATH> is directory
which include both TE16XP.LAN and TE16XP.LDI
Ex. A:\NETWARE\SERVER\NW4X
Select "TE16XP.LAN ....".
Please reference setup program to specify "Port value".
Select "Save parameters and load driver" after configure adpter
setting.
NetWare server will loading/binding driver automatically.
Notes: . Please save ETHERTSM.NLM, MSM.NLM, and NBI.NLM by screen's
instruction.
. If ETHERTSM.NLM, MSM.NLM, and NBI.NLM older than server have.
Please select "Never overwrite newer files".
else select "Always overwrite newer files".
The other time installation from the install menu
(for NetWare 4.1x only, for other version see below)

Start the NetWare Server.
> CD \NWSERVER
> SERVER
Execute "LOAD INSTALL" after booting up. Type,
: LOAD INSTALL
Select "Driver Options", -> "Configure network drivers", and
-> "Select a driver".
Select "TE16XP.LAN ...." in Select a driver windows.
Please reference setup program to specify "Port value".
Select "Save parameters and load driver" after configure adpter
setting.
NetWare server will loading/binding driver automatically.
Modifying an existing NetWare 4.x Server
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Make a sub-directory NLMS.OLD under NWSERVER directory.
Save NBI.NLM, MSM.NLM and ETHERNET.NLM to NLMS.OLD
sub-directory.
Copy all provided NLM and LAN files into your dos directory
which include SERVER.EXE.
>COPY <PATH>\*.* C:\NWSERVER
Ex. >COPY A:\NETWARE\SERVER\NW4X\*.* C:\NWSERVER
<PATH> here is the directory where support NLMs and
TE16XP.LAN reside.
Start the NetWare Server.
> CD \NWSERVER
> SERVER
From the Novell Server side, execute "LOAD INSTALL". Type:
:LOAD INSTALL
Select <NCF files options>
Select <Edit AUTOEXEC.NCF file>
Add below item into the server's AUTOEXEC.NCF file.
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\NBI.NLM
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\MSM.NLM
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\ETHERTSM.NLM
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\TE16XP PORT=300 INT=B FRAME=Ethernet_802.3
NAME=TE16XP_1_E83
BIND IPX TE16XP_1_E83 NET=xxxx
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\TE16XP PORT=300 INT=B FRAME=Ethernet_802.2
NAME=TE16XP_1_E82
BIND IPX TE16XP_1_E82 NET=xxxx
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\TE16XP PORT=300 INT=B FRAME=Ethernet_II
NAME=TE16XP_1_EII
BIND IPX TE16XP_1_EII NET=xxxx
LOAD C:\NWSERVER\TE16XP PORT=300 INT=B FRAME=Ethernet_SNAP
NAME=TE16XP_1_ESP
BIND IPX TE16XP_1_E83NET=xxxx
Restart the server again.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
