A. Please follow below steps to install Modem Driver for Windows 2000/XP
1) Go: Control Panel\System\Hardware\Hardware Device
2) Press Mouse(R) on "Unknow PCI Modem", and select "Update driver"
3) Select "Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]", and click "Next" button.
4) Select "Search for the best driver in these locations.", and Select "Include this location in the serach:"
5) Key in the path as below or Click on "Browse" botton to lead the path:
C:\Program files\ASUS\ASUS Live Update\Temp\Modem\
6) Press "Next>" botton to start driver installation.
7) Click on "Finish" button.
B. Please follow below steps to update Modem Driver for Windows 2000/XP
1) Go: Control Panel\System\Hardware\Hardware Device
2) Click on "+" ahead of "Modems" to reveal all items, and Press Mouse(R) on "HSP56MR", and select "Update driver"
3) Select "Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]", and click "Next" button.
4) Select "Search for the best driver in these locations.", and Select "Include this location in the serach:"
5) Key in the path as below or Click on "Browse" botton to lead the path:
C:\Program files\ASUS\ASUS Live Update\Temp\Modem\
6) Press "Next>" botton to start driver installation.
7) Click on "Finish" button.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
