READ ME EXTRAS The files in this EXTRAS folder: update.bat zup.exe vnserver.dll zeus.dll have been included in this download to accommodate users with 3rd-party RIPs that do not have a built-in method for sending firmware files to the printer. To use these files, follow the steps below. 1. Restart the computer. This ensures that any elements of installed RIP software (Kodiak, Onyx, etc.) are stopped and have not left behind any running processes that could interfere with the process. - or - 1. Quit any RIP software, then use the Windows Task Manager to inspect for a running process named "output.exe". If output.exe is found to be running, use the Task Manager End Process command to stop output.exe. 2. Copy the firmware file (CS9840UV.BIN) into the same folder as the files listed above (update.bat, zup.exe, vnserver.dll, zeus.dll). 3. Double-click the "update.bat" file to begin the firmware file upload to the printer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
