ESS Sound Device for Windows 95 Driver
Installaion
1. Start Windows 95
2. Remove the "PCI Multimedia Audio Device" item in the "Device Manager".
(Control Panel-->System-->Device Manager-->Other Devices)
3. Reboot the system
4. Windows 95 will auto detect the sound device as "PCI Multimedia Audio
Devie" and prompt you for the correct path of the driver.
5. Insert the disk and enter the path of the driver (such as "D:\AUDIO\W95\",
which "D:" is your CD-ROM). Also, you may use the "BROWSE" button to locate
the correct path.
6. The audio driver will be displayed (such as "ES1938 PCI AudioDrive").
7. Select "Finish" and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
