There are 2 versions of this driver.

1.  Installer (EXE File):  This installer will remove the INF file of any previous OWC drivers.  It will copy the drivers and INF to x:\windows\drivers\ousb2.  It will also copy the INF file to the x:\windows\inf folder.  This driver addresses the cardbus eject problem in Windows 98 and Windows ME.

2.  INF and system files alone.  Uses same method as earlier versions to install.  This driver does not address the cardbus eject problem.

Power management support for:
	Improved stability and functionality in Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, and XP hibernate and 		sleep modes
Playback of Video Compact Discs (VCDs)
USB 2.0 Cameras that use bulk transfers
Fixed problems with handling of short packets during transfers

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
