README.TXT Driver File Contents (w95edmm.exe)

After downloading the W95EDMM.ZIP file,
use PKUNZIP to create the Windows 95
disk image for the Education MM Sound Card:
    
   PKUNZIP  <drive:\path\>W95EDMM.ZIP A: -d

The -d will create the subdirectory structure for
the disk image.


The following are instructions for installation in Windows 95

1. For installing ES1868 Driver from this diskette.

- Install ES1868 Hardware.
- Turn PC on and wait for Windows 95 to bootup.(Windows 95 will 
automatically detect the ES1868 board and prompt you for the diskette 
containing the drivers)

2. For installing AudioRack Application Software from this diskette.

- Click on Start. Go to Run
- Enter a:\arackw95\setup
- Click on OK

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
