This release of the Bluetooth Software Suite supports the following 
operating systems:

   * Windows 95 OSR2 
   * Windows 98  
   * Windows Me
   * Windows 2000


New Information
---------------
This readme file contains new information regarding the product which 
is not included in the User's Manual.

1) When two (or more) devices are performing Device Discovery at the 
   same time, they will not discover each other. The reason is that a 
   device cannot both perform Device Discovery and reply to another 
   device at the same time.

2) The Network service is only present while the Bluetooth PC Card is 
   inserted in the PC and the Bluetooth Network Adapter is enabled in 
   the Device Manager.

3) Audio is currently not supported on Windows 2000. This will be 
   added in the near future. Please check the web for availability of 
   this upgrade. Go to http://www.pc.ibm.com/support and search for 
   Bluetooth or the part number (09N9812).

4) Support for Windows NT4 SP5 and above will be available in the near 
   future. Please check the web for information on availability. Go to 
   http://www.pc.ibm.com/support and search for Bluetooth or the part 
   number (09N9812).

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
