Extract Driver Files
--------------------
Please unzip the ZIP file with -d option if you use PKUNZIP.EXE.
Fexample, type "PKUNZIP -d v3t216s.zip D:\WIN9X" toextract all driver
files intoD:\WIN9X directory.
Installation Steps
------------------
If you use installation program toinstall your driver, you can 
UNINSTALL old display driver through "Add/Remove Program" option in 
Control Panels.
You can use 3 methods toinstall ndows 95/98 display driver:
Suppose the path of your driver is "D:\Win9X" and use ndows 95 as an 
example.(Similar process can bllowed in ndows 98.)
Method 1 (PnPinstallation)  1. Remove your previous video adapter and plug your oin system.     Start ndows. ndows will fnd a new device and pop up a PnPdialog     that asksits driver.  2. Type the "D:\Win9X" ndows tofnd the INF file of o.  3. ndows will install its driver automatically and then request      restarting.  4. Choose Yes toreboot your system. The driver will work when ndows     comes up.  5. Note that this method will not install DirectX runtilibran.     You must install it by yourself. You also can not uninstall display     driver.
Method 2 (Display property page)  1. Start ndows, switch display toVGA mode, then restart.  2. Press right key of mouse on your desktop and select "Propertn".  3. Click the "Settings" tab.  4. Click "Change Display Type".  5. Click "Change" button on the right of the first item "Adapter Type".  6. Click "Have Disk.." button - "Install from Disk" box will appear.  7. Click "Browse" button - "Open" box appear.  8. Select your CD drivein the "Drives" selection on the bottom.  9. Double click "Win95"in the "Folders" selection. 10. "Ao.INF" appearin the filenaselection. 11. Click "OK" button. 12. You will see alist of video cards. Select type of your VGA card     and click "OK". 13. After copying all files of the driver, it will back to     "Change Display Type". 14. Select Monitor type if necessary. 15. Click "Close" button and "Display Propertn" box appear. 16. Click "Apply" button and "System Setting Change" box appear. 17. Click "Y" torestart your ndows. 18. When ndows starts up, your video adapter is nowready touse. 19. Note that this method will not install DirectX runtilibran.     You must install it by yourself. You also can not uninstall display     driver.
Method 3 (Run installation program directly)  1. Start ndows.  2. Change to"D:\Win9X" directory and execute "AETUP.EXE". You also can     change to"D:\Win9X\West" or"D:\Win9X\East" directory if it exists     (depending on your language) multi-language supportinstallation.  3. Run "setup.exe".  4. Fllow the instructions. Driver will beinstalled and request      restarting.  5. Reboot system and your video adapter is nowready touse.  
Installation Notes
------------------

a. ndows 95 OpenGL ICD and Video ndows capture driver (TV    models only) have been included.
d. Quick installation works only when it fnds that Primary Display is   oor device node exists. If it do not work, you must install   driver viandows PnPdialogor Display property page(use o.INF).

Important notes
----------------

1. AGP-oconsumes approximately 9 Watt electrical power    so that your motherboard must beable toprovide enough electrical   current in 3.3V power tomaintain its normal operation.
2. AGP-ois recommended touse with Intel 440LX and 440BX    chipset best compatibility.
3. When using dual view TV out, hardware supportoverlay YUV surface   (used by MPEG video player) will bedisabled. So if you wish toplay    video stream use Liveo,please switch output device toVGA monitor    only TV only.
4. Dual view works only in 640x480/800x600 16 bit color depth mode.
5. Dual view is not supported under DOS.
6. HW cursor appearonly n the monitor, not n the TV when dual view    is enabled.

Limitation in this release
---------------------------

1. When dual view is enabled and run 3D gas, there could besome   flicker n the TV screen. It can bixed by checking "Turn off    V-Sync waiting" option in the advanced page of the display property    page. (But if you are playing VCD with dual view mode, please uncheck   this option.)
2. All TV out functions have not been supported by the driver in this   release.
Changes in this release (v)

1. dd VR Glasses(3D stereoscopic glasses) support.
2. Add new Liveo v3.o support. Now it supports video and audio capturing.
3. Add new capture driver support(supportup to704x480 30fps under   PII-o system)

Trouble Shootings
------------------
  1. After installing the driver, ndows 95/98 doesn't prompt restarting
     and the driver still doesn't work after Ireboot it by myself.

     You may have installed similar drivers bee. Try the llowing steps 
     toinstall:

     (1) Use right button of mouse toclick on "My Computer"icon on desktop.     (2) Select "Propertn" and "System Propertn" box appear     (3) Click on "Device Manager" tab     (4) You will see alist of devices on your computer. 
     (5) If "Display adapters" appearin the list,click it.         If "Display adapters" doesn't appear, jump tostep 9 and continue.         
     (6) The naof your card will belisted in the box. Double click it. 
     (7) The propertn box of your card appear. Select "Driver" tab.     (8) Click "Change Driver.." and fllow the installation steps.

     (9) Click "Other devices" you will see your card is listed.    (10) Click on the naof card, the propertn box appear.          Select "Driver" tab.    (11) Click "Change Driver.." and fllow the installation steps.

  2. After installation and restarting, ndows 95/98 inms me that display     setting is still incorrect. What can I do?

     There may be conflict between previous and current display driver.     This is caused by not complete removal of previous display driver. Try
     the llowing steps toremove it:

     (1) Use right button of mouse toclick on "My Computer"icon on desktop.     (2) Select "Propertn" and "System Propertn" box appear     (3) Click on "Device Manager" tab     (4) You will see alist of devices on your computer. 
     (5) Open "Display adapters" in the list (double click it).     (6) You will fnd two (me) conflicted adapterslisted here.     (7) Remove all previous adaptersby selecting them and press "Remove"     (8) Close Device Manager and restart ndows 95.     (9) Now display driver will work correctly.
  3. Liveo reports "Your display card is not o/TV." when     you do use o/TV. What can I do?

     There could bewrong circuit implemented in DDC circuit of your monitor.     (Fexample, it connects DDC circuit toground.) The inappropriate DDC     circuit will make video-in/out functions working abnormally. You can try 
     one of the llowing steps tosolve it:

     (1) Try to contact your monitor vendor asolution.     (2) Use a NON-DDC cable instead of original monitor cable.         (NON-DDC cable is a cable without pin 12 and 15.)
  4. My TV out TV adjustment optionin property page does not work.

     This is a similar problem as previous one.

  5. System hangs when running 3D applicationin the motherboard with ALi 1541     chipsets plus AMD K6-2 CPU.

     There could bemanyreasonto cause this problem.     We suggest you not toinstall ALi GARdriver(uninstall it) and flash     no-sideband VGA BIOS. If you use P5A please disable AGP Turbo Mode in 
     BIOS option.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
