This readme.txt file contains instruction to install the drivers and application for the STB TV Tuner card. Installing WebTV 1) Click START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL. 2) Double click the Add/Remove Programs icon, then select the Windows Setup tab. 3) Scroll to the bottom of the list and click the box next to Web TV for Windows. 4) Click OK, files will be copied. (You may be asked to place the Windows 98 CD into the CD-ROM drive. 5) Files will be copied, once completed, click Yes to restart the computer. 6) Windows 98 will detect new hardware, once completed, click Yes to restart the computer. Installing the STB TV Tuner Drivers 1) Click START then RUN. Type "C:\TVTUNER\SETUP\AUTORUN.EXE". 2) The STB Systems Desktop TV window appers. Click the "(Start Here) Install Driver" button. 3) Click Yes to install the drivers. 4) Click No when asked to read the readme.txt file. 5) Files will be copied. (If STBTVPCI.PCI file cannot be copied, change the path to C:/TVTUNER and click OK. 6) Click Yes to restart the computer. 7) Windows 98 will detect new hardware, once completed click START then RUN and type "C:\TVTUNER\SETUP\AUTORUN.EXE". 8) The STB System Desktop TV window will appear again. Click the "Install Desktop TV" button. 9) Click the Next button to continue. Another window appears, click the Next button again. 10) Files will be copied. 11) Click the Finish button to exit the setup program. 12) Click the Exit button to close the STB window. 13) The C:\TVTUNER directory is no longer required and can be deleted.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
