Up till now I only once updated a BIOS and it was of an old Pentium-I Compaq Deskpro EP. This update came in a, so to speak, 'ready-to-run'-DOS-software-package. Only press a few buttons (and hope the system does not, to Murphy's Law, suddenly lose power during the update-process). However, if you are seriously considering to update your BIOS, turn to your system/motherboard-manufacturer to find the most solid and fail-proof method. At least try to find, in a book or on the internet, the most thorough manual (preferably ofcourse in your own language) to do so. I added this warning, because all over the internet you can find that, if something goes wrong, it surely does. File CUSLL202.BIN is my current BIOS I backupped with aflash2.21. I have not found an update yet (without having to pay for it). File HP7860.TXT is a systeminfo-summary by 'Everest'. Hope to have been of help and good luck.
