            Windows 95 Installation Instructions

1. Launch Windows 95
2. Double click on the Display icoon in the "Setting->Control Panel"
   folder (Click on the Start button). You can also click the right
   mouse button anywhere on the desktop and select the "Properties"
   option from the popout menu.
3. Click the "Setting" Tab and click on the "Change Display Type..."
   button.
4. Under "Adapter Type" click on the "Change" button.
5. Click on the "Have Disk" button.
6. Change to the directory containing the Driver files and click the
   "OK" button (ex. A:\)
7. Select the "S3.INF" file and click the "OK" button.
8. Select the "S3 Trio64+VLB" or "S3 Trio64V+PCI" driver from the list
   and click the "OK" button. VLB for VLP system and PCI for PCI system.
9. If a message stating that one or more driver files is older than the
   files on the system respond "NO" to overwrite the files. 9. Click on
   the "Close" button.
10. Select the Apply button.
11. Click the Apply button.
12. At the "System Settings Change" dialog Click "Yes" to restart computer.

TRUE COLOR DRIVER FOR 1MB CONFIGURATION
The user is given the choice of selecting a 24bpp driver to provide True color
support in 1MB of video memory.At this time,this driver works correctly with
the TRIO32 only.Future revisions of the TRIO64V+ will support this 24 bpp mode.
To remove the 24 bpp driver from the available modes,the S3.INF file should be
replaced with the NO24BPP file.Rename the S3.INF file to a different name and
then rename the NO24BPP file to S3.INF.
