The driver (EN1407.SYS) contained in the directory WINNT is for
the following Accton PCI Gigabit Ethernet adapter:

The driver (EN1407.SYS) conforms to the Network Driver Interface
Specification (NDIS) 5.0, and is used with Microsoft Windows 2000
on the X86 platform.

(B) Installing the driver in Microsoft Windows 2000
=========================================================
1. Plug Accton EN1407-SX adapter into one of the Master PCI
slots of your PCI platform.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from Windows 2000.
3. When Windows 2000 prompts with "PCI Ethernet Controller" in
"New Hardware Found" dialog box, click the "Next" button.
4. Select "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)"
form the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then click the
"Next" button.
5. Insert the Accton EN1407-SX Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.
6. Select "Specify a location" and type Path "A:\WIN2000" in the
"Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then click the "Next" button.
7. Click the "Next" button in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
8. Windows 2000 will prompt with "Accton EN1407-SX Cheetah Gigabit Adapter"
in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
9. Click the "Next" button in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box,
then Windows 2000 will copy the driver (EN1407.SYS) from A:\Win2000
to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory and the EN1407.INF file from A:\WIN98
A:\WIN2000 to the C:\WINDOWS\INF directory.
10. When Windows prompts with "Accton EN1407-SX Cheetah Gigabit Adapter" in the
"Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Finish" button.
11. Remove the Accton EN1407-SX Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.
12. Restart your computer to initialize the network function.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
