F. Parameter Description for EN5251.LAN

The following parameters are used in EN5251.LAN.

    1. SLOT : specifies which adapter is enabled when multiple EN5251
Based adapters are found in your computer. The SLOT keyword
is an index value corresponding to PCI BIOS. The mapping
from SLOT to the physical PCI slot is different from one
                   machine to another.

                   Ex: LOAD EN5251 SLOT=3 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.2
                       LOAD EN5251 SLOT=4 FRAME=ETHERNET_II

    2. FRAME : specifies which frame type is used by the driver. Accepted
                   values are Ethernet_802.2, Ethernet_802.3, Ethernet_II and
Ethernet_SNAP. Multiple frame types can be enabled by
loading the same driver with different FRAME types.

                   Ex: LOAD EN5251 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.2
                       LOAD EN5251 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.3
                       LOAD EN5251 FRAME=ETHERNET_II
                       LOAD EN5251 FRAME=ETHERNET_SNAP

    3. NODE : Uses a different address to replace the node address burned
                   in EEPROM.

                   Ex: LOAD EN5251 NODE=0000E8001122

    4. Media_Type : Specifies which medium type is used by the driver.
                   Accepted vaules are AUTO,10-HD,10-FD,100-HD,
                   100-FD.

                   Ex: LOAD EN5251 SLOT=3 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.2 Medium=100-FD
