Montego II Plus 'Retail' drivers ver. 2046 for Win 95 & Win 98 ONLY.  

This is a "universal" driver that also accommodates the Solano Series Chipsets: 
i815 or i815E.

WARNING: Not for Dell Montego.

Requires Direct X that can be downloaded at www.microsoft.com/directx). 

NOTE! Make sure you do NOT remove the applications! 
Please clearly report any bugs ONLY to QADept@voyetra.com.

- These drivers do NOT install the A3D demos.  It is assumed that 
  the user already has the TB Applications CD and installed the demos
  and Direct X is already installed in the system.

- These drivers will NOT install Sound Blaster Emulation for "crowded" systems 
  with limited IRQs.

Here's the correct installation procedure for these drivers.


1) Make sure the new 2046 drivers are unzipped somewhere on the harddrive,
   such as c:\m2.

2) Launch Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel, select "Turtle Beach Montego II          Digital I/O" and click Remove.  NOTE! Make sure you do NOT remove the applications!  
   When it completes, it will ask to restart the system.  Say yes.

3) When the system restarts, it will find new hardware and ask for the
   drivers, point it to the location you unzipped the files to in step 1, 
   such as c:\m2.

4) Continue going through the driver install until complete.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
