UP-D6500/6400/6300 Printer Driver This file contains important last-minutes information. Please refer to this Readme in advance. The latest driver is available from the following URL. http://www.sony.co.jp/DP-driver-E/ 1.Split Ribbon If this option is selected, front side is printed with YMC and back side with K using YMCKL ribbon. Both sides lamination is not available. This option is avalable under the following condition. Ribbon YMCKL Duplex Print ON TEXT K or GRAPHICS K 2.Be sure you have the latest version of Adaptec's ASPI Manager in the case of SCSI connection. You can download an update driver from Adaptec's home page (http://www.adaptec.com). 3.Power on a PC after the READY lamp of the printer stops blinking and lights. 4.Please note that the file size(pixels) will be changed if you switch units of 'Inch' and 'mm' in 'Custom...' dialog. Choose the unit you use first and then enter each value. 5.Choose 'Custom...' for an edge to edge print. Please set 84.7mm for Length, 54.2mm for Width and 0mm to each Margin. 1000 X 640 pixels image can be printed. Please note that the printing in this size may shorten the head life. 6.In the case you set ON for 'Duplex Printing' but send a file of only 1 page by mistake, the printer keeps waiting for the next page (for back side). In such case, please restart the printer. 7.In the case you cancel the job while transfering datat, the printer hungs up. In such case, please restart the printer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
