The latest updates of the Pewin32PRO Suite components are added in the form of
a Service Pack. Service pack has been added to the release CD from now on. 
Service Pack is also be available on the web to anyone who wants to update 
his/her Pewin32PRO Suite components. Service Pack features include 

1.   It recognizes the licensed copy of any/all Pewin32PRO Suite components and 
     updates them if needed.

2.   It does not overwrite the trial version of any component so the trial 
     versions of the Pewin32PRO Suite components will not be replaced.

3.   Latest released version of the service pack is available at 
     \\dt_vault\Released.SW\Pewin32 PRO\Service Packs\Release\ folder.
 
 
Following updates are implemented in the Service Pack since last release of 
Pewin32PRO Suite

4.    PComm32.DLL updates
      a.    QMAC added in the PmacType
      b.    Pmac2-PCI with Flex CPU (DPRAM mapping fixed)

5.    Pewin32PRO Executive updates
      a.    -Terminal changed to eliminate the scroll issue. 
	    -Memory corruption fixed for large queries in the terminal screen.
	    -High speed buffer added to the Terminal screen options.
	    -Terminal buffer contains 2000 lines and reduces the buffer to half
	     automatically once the buffer is full. last half of the buffer is 
	     available so that user can view it. The buffer size can, however, 
	     be increased significantly to accommodate more viewable data.
	    -History of previous commands is available and can easily be 
	     retrieved from the input window. If the first character matches 
             the cursor automatically goes to the nearest matching command.
      b.    Minimum update time limited to 100 msec for Serial/USB/Ethernet
	    modes of communication
      c.    Encoder conversion table for MACRO station added
      d.    Limit of number of macro definitions for the Watch purposes is 
            increased from 250 to 1000. The actual variable limit for EACH Watch 
            window is still fixed to 250.
      e.    Position window's Scaling and units display had an inefficient 
            rollover routine. This routine has been fixed to a better algorithm 
            which does not load the system for any rollover value.
      f.    Fixed a crash caused by an undefined macro in the Editor window.

6.    All Applications: QMAC changes in the PComm32.dll are reflected in the 
      title of every application in PmacType.
 
 
30-day trial version is fully functional copy of Pewin32PRO Suite, which has all 
the latest service pack updates with only one limitation (Only 30-day trial per 
one computer) and is available on the Web and is accessible from the main page.

. Pewin32PRO is completely redesigned using VCL and latest software tools.
Borland CBuilder 5.0 is used as the platform for development. PComm32 is
compiled using Microsoft C++ 6.0.
New features of the Pewin32PRO include interactive color editor, more
versatile watch and position window. Further, variable configuration menus,
particularly the M-variables, have been improved a lot for added features, as
uploads, download and refresh etc.
. The main expansion of the application is the ability of workspace. Workspace
is saved in an INI file. this keeps track of all the open forms including
their sizes, device association, update rate, state at the close of pervious
session, and other related parameters as color, font and units and scales.
Workspace can be edited outside the application for desired changes.
Default workspace Pewin32PRO_default.ini is saved in the application folder.
Name and location can be changed at any time.
. Project manager is yet another added feature of Pewin32PRO. It allows for
multiple files to be associated with a project (essentially associated with
any one PMAC). Please browse for detailed project features.
. Terminal is made smart to correctly keep track of previous commands. Status
screens are modified to display the exact register and bit numbers for each
item.
. Choice of PMACSelect in each form is an added feature for versatility of the
program. This allows for selection of any available device for any form with
the need for a Terminal to be open. Further, the update period is selectable
for most of the forms.

  1.	Syntax higlighting: The new editor is a colorized editor.  all of the pmac
  variables, keywords, ... and any thing Else which is defined in the PMAC has
  its own color and font style. The user can also define his/her own color and
  font scheme.
  2. 	Auto Correction: The new editor is capable of correcting and changing the
  code to	a standard format. For example the following line of code will be
  corrected as following:
  before -> If (p1 != p3 And (p1+p3) < 5)
    after  -> If (p1 != p3 And (p1+p3) < 5)
      3. 	Auto Indentation: The new editor could auto indent the code base on the Tab
      size and the syntax of the code. For example the following line of code will
      be corrected as following:

48 bits of a word, the user should look at the word in the binary mode. The
default start bit index now starts from bit 0 to match PMAC bit numbers.

about visible/hide motors is also saved in the configuration file for future
sessions.

This section covers the features related to Workspace, Project manager and
related menu items.
1.  Workspace manages the configuration of Pewin32PRO. It keeps track of
dimensions/units/color/fonts of all child windows. It further it keeps
track of open windows and their associated devices, update rate, etc.
2.  Project manager is responsible for holding project files for one or more
PMAC devices. A project can be associated with any configured PMAC device
and downloaded on demand. A project containing multiple files downloads all
the associated files. Associated files can be edited or downloaded
individually as well.
3.  Message windows display the results of download/upload. or cancellation if
aborted. Download errors are listed along with file names and corresponding
line numbers. Once clicked Pewin32RPO will open the correct file, and
highlight the actual line number.
