1. INTRODUCTION
This document describes the Digi AccelePort Xp
Device Driver for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and Me.
Refer to the following number when searching the Digi
International Inc. web site (www.digi.com) or the ftp
site (ftp.digi.com) for the latest software package:

3. KNOWN LIMITATIONS
There is a known conflict with the Diamond Viper video
driver when installed on some Micron Millennia desktop
computers. To avoid conflicts on such systems, install
the device driver for the standard VGA display adapter.

o Added a read notification check to PortSetReadCallback

the system when affected by a hardware conflict with the
Viper driver

o Changed the low latency feature user interface from a
checkbox to a drop-down menu and moved to global options
o Implemented a selective transmission pause to prevent
the print driver from corrupting the data stream
o Modified the configuration handler to assign interrupt
request (IRQ) resources to the board's ports to coerce
Serenum to poll for Plug and Play modems on boot
o Implemented a sync delay when asked to drop DTR to
prevent the print driver from truncating the data stream
o Implemented a workaround to the shutdown stall failure
by modifying the polling thread to check the system
initialization state during each poll iteration

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
