=====================

On page 2-3 of the DataFire GO! Series PC Card guide, after the
section "Install Dial-Up Networking", please follow the instructions
below. This will guide you through the installation of
The Microsoft Winsock and Dial-Up Networking (DUN) 1.2 Upgrades,
which replace the Microsoft Accelerator Pack Version 1.1 referred
to in the manual.

Installing Microsoft Winsock and Dial-Up Networking (DUN) 1.2 Upgrades
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Warning:
The Dial-Up Networking 1.2 upgrade relies on features in the
most recent version of the Microsoft TCP/IP stack. For that
reason, installation of the upgrade will replace your current
TCP/IP stack. If you have applications that rely on a
third-party stack, you may want to discontinue this upgrade.
If you continue and certain applications stop working, reload
	the applications.

Before You Begin
To perform this procedure, you will need the
"Microsoft Dial-Up Networking for Windows 95 Version 1.2" diskette
(PN 40001591A) that is included in the DataFire GO! package.

Dial-Up Networking and Winsock Installation Procedure
1. Check to see if you have DUN 1.2 (or a later release of
Dial-Up Networking) installed by doing the following:
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
Check the list of installed programs to see if DUN 1.2 (or
	later software) is installed.
2. If DUN 1.2 or later
Is installed already, then so is the Winsock update, so press
Cancel to return to the Control Panel and then go to step 8.
Is not installed, go to step 3.
3. Insert the diskette "Microsoft Dial-Up Networking for
	Windows 95 Version 1.2".
This disk contains the compressed file MSDUN12.ZIP.
4. Copy the file MSDUN12.ZIP to a temporary location on your
	hard drive.
5. Expand MSDUN12.ZIP into the temporary location.
i.e. use WINZIP, or type PKUNZIP MSDUN12 at the DOS prompt.
This will produce a self extracting file MSDUN12.EXE.
6. Using the Windows Explorer, double-click msdun12.exe and then
follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot, and you may
be asked to insert Windows 95 installation diskettes or to
supply a path to where the files can be found.

DUN 1.2 software is installed.

7. Using the Windows Explorer, double-click wsockupd.exe which
will be in the MSDUN directory under your Windows directory
	(e.g. C:\WINDOWS\MSDUN). Follow the prompts.

Winsock software is installed.

8. Install the DataFire GO! card and driver.
See "Insert the PC Card" in the DataFire GO! Series PC Card
	guide.

The remainder of the installation procedure is as stated in the guide
with the exception that the Digi DataFire GO! Series Wizard now
consists of just one disk, not two as mentioned in the guide.

Known Problems:
==============
Under OSR2 (Windows 95 4.00.950 B) the GO! card drivers may not be properly
installed as a Multi-function device. The card operates normally, but
uninstall requires an additional step.

To avoid this problem, copy the installation disk files to a temporary
location on your hard disk and direct the New Hardware Wizard to look there
for the installation files, instead of looking on the floppy drive.

If the driver does not appear as a Multi-function device in the
Device Manager:
To uninstall the drivers, run the Digi Uninstall Utility then check the Modem
section of the Device Manager (Start,Settings,Control Panel,System). If
there is a Digi MultiFunctional device listed under Modem, select the
device and press the Remove button.

Limitations:
===========
Loop Disconnect Dialing is not applicable for the Netherlands.
