If you experience problems with your HP LAN adapter, contact your
LAN dealer or call your HP Customer Service Center.
Collect data before contacting your dealer or HP:

History of the Problem:
o What symptoms did you notice?
o Did the symptoms appear when the LAN adapter was first installed,
after normal operation, or after its configuration was changed?
o If you changed its configuration, did you also change the driver
parameters to match?
Card Configuration Information:
o Run the adapter utility, Setup or HPSet, appropriate to the
computer's operating system. Record any parameters from the
configuration listed.
Computer Information:
o What vendor and model of computer are you using?
o What are the processor speed and bus type (EISA/PCI or ISA/PCI)?
o What is the configuration of other cards installed in your
computer?
o What operating system and version are you using?
o What network operating system and version are you using?
o What applications are running on the computer?
o List the contents of key files such as autoexec.bat, autoexec.ncf,
startup.ncf, config.sys, net.cfg, protocol.ini, lanman.ini, system.ini.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
