Windows 3.x or Windows for Workgroups

If NetWare is the only network operating system, then the
3Com AutoLink program can be used for the driver
installation.

For non-NetWare environments, install the client software
as specified by your network operating system vendor.
Windows 3.x and WFW have internal support for Microsoft
networking environments.

For attaching to both WFW and Netware networks, please
refer to WFWNDIS2.TXT.

Windows 95
---------- 

Do not configure the adapter from Installation Disk 2 using
CONFIG.EXE/Configuration and Diagnostics.

Both Windows 95 Plug and Play and SETUP will complete the
installation for Novell, Microsoft, and most other network
operating systems. Refer to the User's Guide or file
W95NDIS3.TXT for more information.

Windows NT 3.51
---------------

Use the configuration software provided on Installation
Disk 2 to automatically set adapter parameters suitable
for this PC. Use Windows NT to install client
software for Novell, Microsoft, and most other network
operating systems.

Windows 98 and Windows NT 5.0
-----------------------------
 
At the time of release of the LAN+Modem card, these
operating systems had not been released by Microsoft.
Please refer to 3Com's Website (www.3Com.com) for updated
information.  There may also be updated information in the
latest shipping Installation Disks. Check for these in
the free Software/Downloads section of the 3Com
Website.
