procedure to change the PC card mode to 32-bit.

5. Double click on the PC Card (PCMCIA) icon located in the Control Panel.

The message "Welcome to the PC Card Wizard" appears.

the PRD-150 as a "Standard IDE/ESDI Hard Disk Controller"
and prompts you to install the Windows default driver, but
DO NOT click on OK at this time.

**WARNING**

To cancel the installation, always use the Cancel button. Never use
the "Do not install a driver" option. If you select this option, your PC

window will not appear again even if the PC is re-booted. If you select
this option, see "Troubleshooting".

     into your floppy disk drive.

The Install From Disk window appears. Confirm that the
indicated drive (default A) is the correct letter of your
floppy disk drive. If not, type the correct drive letter.

5. Click OK

An ascending tone is heard from the PC and "PC OPR"
appears in the CD-ROM Discman's display window.

6. Open the My Computer window and confirm that a CD-ROM icon
     appears.

selected the "Do not install a driver" option, "SONY CD-ROM
