SCRIPTS Directory contains the following:

	CCMAIL - Lotus CC:Mail support files
		SPORTV34.MDM - supports U.S. Robotics Sportster V.34 PCMCIA Modem
		INSTALL.BAT - copies above file to c:\ccmobil

	LAPLINK - Lap Link support files
		MODEM.MDM - supports U.S. Robotics Sportster V.34 PCMCIA Modem
		INSTALL.BAT - appends the above file to 
			c:\windows\tsi\tsiusrmd.ini or if tsiusrmd.ini 
			does not exist then the above file will be 
			renamed to tsiusrmd.ini
	
	LOTNOTES - Lotus Notes support files
		SPORTV34.MDM - supports U.S. Robotics Sportster V.34 PCMCIA Modem
		INSTALL.BAT - copies above file to c:\notes

	MSMAIL - Microsoft Mail support files
		
		The U.S. Robotics Sportster V.34 PCMCIA modem is supported with these 
		files.  The modem has three script files.  The "c" suffix 
		(i.e. compression is used) file should be used by default.  If the user
		experiences trouble connecting, then try the "r" (reliable - i.e.
		compression turned off) file then the "s" (i.e. standard) file
		in that order.

		INSTALL.BAT - appends the above file to c:\shiva\modems.ini

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
