standardmäßig in den Ordner C:\DMX XFire 1024\Win9x.

1.0) Installation der neuen Treiber
• Starten Sie die Datei SETUP.EXE im Ordner C:\DMX XFire 1024\Win9x (Standard).
• Folgen Sie den weiteren Anweisungen des Installationsprogramms.
• Kopieren Sie nach erfolgter Installation das Sample-Set cwcdls8.cls aus <CD>:\Drivers\Win9x
in den Ordner CWCDATA Ihres Windows-Ordners (z.B. C:\windows\cwcdata)
• Starten Sie Ihren Rechner jetzt neu!

2.0) Installation des Sample-Sets
• Damit die Wavetable-Wiedergabe der DMX XFire 1024 funktioniert, muss das entsprechende Sample-Set
installiert sein. Normalerweise wird dieses Sample-Set automatisch, während der Treiberinstallation,
mitinstalliert. Um aber Ihre Downloadzeiten und -kosten zu minimieren, haben wir das Sample-Set
aus diesem CORE-Treiberpaket herausgenommen.
• Wenn Sie die Treiber, wie unter 1.0 beschrieben, installiert haben, bieten sich folgende zwei
Möglichkeiten das Sample-Set zu installieren:
1.) Kopieren Sie die Datei "cwcdls8c.ls" von der vorhandenen DMX XFire 1024-CD
(<CD>:\Drivers\Win9x\cwcdls8.cls) in den Ordner CWCDATA Ihres Windows-Ordners
Starten Sie Ihr System danach bitte neu.
2.) Sollten Sie aus welchem Grund auch immer die CD nicht mehr haben, laden Sie das
automatische Installationstool von unserer Internetseite herunter: SampleSet.exe
Achtung: Diese Datei ist ca. 9MB gross !

Dear customer,
the self-extracting archive "xfire_w9x_core.exe" unzipps the driver without sample set into
the folder C:\DMX XFire 1024\Win9x by default.

1.0) Installation of the new driver
• Start the SETUP.EXE program in the folder C:\DMX XFire 1024\Win9x (default).
• Follow the further instructions of the installation programm.

2.0) Installation of the sample set
• To enable the DMX XFIRE 1024 wavetable playback the corresponding sample set needs to be installed.
Normally the sample-set will be installed automatically during the driver installation.
To minimze your download time and costs we have taken the sample set out of this core driver package.
• If you have installed the drives as described in 1.0 there are two ways to install the sample set:
1. Copy the file "cwcdls8.cls" from your existing DMX XFire 1024 CD (<CD>:\Drivers\Win9x\cwcdls8.cls)
to the folder CWCDATA in your WINDOWS (e.g. C:\windows\cwcdata).
2. If for any reason you do not have the CD anymore, you can download the automatic installation
tool "SampleSet.exe" from our website.
(The file size is nearly 9MB!)

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
