Windows ME Driver Update Installation 

Note: Requires MMX 200Mhz CPU for drivers to work properly. 
    
1) Windows will detect New Hardware, click Next 
2) Next again to search for the best driver
3) Put the installation CD in your CD-ROM and select it
4) Click Next again, then Finish 

Windows ME will finish the basic driver installation.  In order to work properly under Windows ME, an update driver is needed.  Please follow the steps below to finish the Windows ME installation

1) Download the ME update driver 
2) Decompresses the drivers into C:\SIIG folder
3) Go to Control Panel/System/Device Manager/USB PC Camera/Properties
4) Go to Driver Tab, and select the Updates Driver icon
5) Keep selecting Next until you can specify Driver File Location
6) Use the Browse icon; direct Windows ME to the C:\SIIG folder
7) Windows ME will install the update driver automatically
8) Restart your computer to accept the new settings.

Verify for Successful Installation: 

1) Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager 
2) Under Imaging Device 
-USB PC Camera
3) Under Desktop, a Vidcap.exe utility icon will appear
	This software can be used for basic video capturing


Software Installation for Windows ME

1) Put the installation CD in your computer 
2) Double click the autorun.exe file
3) Select a application and double click to install

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
