We appreciate your choice of a Panasonic display monitor.
The following is an explanation for using the monitor under Windows'95.

1.The file contains information on display specifications such as
frequencies, resolutions, power management, and other items
supported by the monitor. For registration of the monitor in the
Windows'95 monitor list, please follow the procedure below.

1) Start Windows'95 after the monitor is connected with the computer.
2) Click the "Start" button and select "Settings". Then select "Control
Panel".
3) Double click the icon "Display" in the "Control Panel" and then click 
the tab labeled "Settings".
4) Click "Change Display Type".
5) Click the "Change" button in the "Monitor Type" area of the window.
6) Click the "Have Disk" button in the window.
7) Insert the INF disk into the floppy disk drive.
8) At "Copy manufacturer's files from:" in the window "Install From Disk",
type in the correct floppy disk drive into which you have inserted the 
INF disk ( for example, A:\ ) and select "OK".
9) At the end of the downloading from the disk, the window "Select 
Device" appears again. Select your monitor model number from the 
"Models:" menu. 
At this time, ignore letters headed by a hyphen (-) located at the end of 
model numbers.
10) Click "OK".
11) The window "Change Display Type" appears with the selected model 
number at "Monitor Type".
12) If the selected model number is correct, click on the "Close" button.
13) Click "OK" in the window "Settings" and close the window "Display 
Properties".
14) Take the disk out of the floppy disk drive.
15) Restart Windows'95 to make the settings effective.

2. Explanation for the Plug and Play function.
The monitor is compliant with DDC1/2B of VESA standards. The 
following system environment enables you to operate "Plug and Play" 
recommended via Windows'95.

1) Windows'95
2) Plug and Play-compatible computer and video graphics board
3) Plug and Play-compatible video cable (The provided cable is compliant.)

< Notes >
1) You might need to install Panasonic Display Information (INF) File, 
which depends on the system. In this case, install it by means of item 
1 mentioned above.
2) The system might require letters headed by a hyphen (-) of the 
selected model number.
In this case, find a letter or letters printed near the model number on 
the nameplate attached to the back of the cabinet and use it as part of 
the true model number.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
