C.01.05  

     FIXES:
     - when using multihead video cards (e.g. : Quad G100), messages are 
	well displayed on primary screen.
     - Entirely new setup, supporting install from floppies.

     
     NEW FEATURES : 
     - none

     KNOWN ISSUES :
     - when transfering the installation files on floppies,
	only the file Hpc4734.002 has to be transfered on 2nd floppy
	 "    "   "   Hpc4734.003  "   "  "   "        on third floppy
      else an error 'disk full' appears when transfering other files to these
	floppies.
 

     INSTALLATION NOTES :
      - remove first the previous version of Keyboard utility (from add/remove
	programm).
      - reboot your computer
      - type command setup.exe from first floppy.
     
     UPGRADE RECOMMENDATION

     FIXES:
     - Spelling errors in finnish.
     - It is now possible to set a blank label name with the

     - Supports both the current Moon-key scancode
       and the new Microsoft Sleep-key scancode.

     KNOWN ISSUES :
     - The message LED is only managed AFTER a reboot.

     FIXES
      - no more problem under certain languages (as Japanese or Korean) : some 
	characters were not well displayed.

     NEW FEATURES :
      - unified version which integrates all languages (Japanese included).	


     KNOWN ISSUES :
      - under Windows NT4.0, an error may be regularly generated in the
	event viewer by i8042prt.sys : "The ISR has detected an internal 
	state error in the driver for \Device\KeyboardPort0."
       The system is fully working : it is a false error reported in the 
	event viewer.
      - This package does not fit in one floppy. If you have to transfer
	these files onto floppies, use the utility pkzip of an equivalent 
	software. The newer version will fix this problem.

      - reboot your computer

      -   First released version for Windows 95 and NT 4.0.
      -   The utility will generate calls to applications with the
          special function keys.  Installing the corresponding  
          application (HP TopTOOLS and a web browser) prior using
          the special functions keys is recommended. Installing
	  HPLock utility to well interfer with Pause button from
	  Multimedia keayboard. 

     KNOWN ISSUES :
      - under Windows NT4.0, an error may be regularly generated in the

  Minimizing the number of the revisions of the drivers is an
  objective of Hewlett-Packard. However Hewlett-Packard may have
  to release new revisions for any one of the following reasons :
  
  ENHANCEMENTS
  ------------
  This is the case when a major new feature is available on the
  market. Good examples are Microsoft Windows 95, a new level of
  the Plug and Play standard, a new level of the PCI standard.
  
  PROCUREMENT ASSURANCE
  ---------------------
  Hewlett-Packard qualifies an additional supplier for a
  component in order to secure the procurement.
  
  COMPONENT ROLL
  --------------
  A semiconductor supplier introduces a new version of a
  component, and stops the production of the previous version for
  technological improvement reasons.
  
  QUALITY
  -------
  To improve the quality, Hewlett-Packard has to make use of a
  more reliable component, or to implement a design change.
  
  COST
  ----
  Hewlett-Packard uses a different supplier which can supply the
  equivalent component at a much lower price.
  
  BUG FIX
  -------
  Bugs discovered in the previous version are fixed.
