------------------------------------------------------------------------ Measurement Studio for Visual Studio 2003/2005 Measurement Computing Edition Driver CD ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Measurement Studio for Visual Studio 2003/2005 Measurement Computing Edition Driver CD provides installers for the Universal Library and GPIB 488.2 .NET Class Libraries and hardware drivers. InstaCal and Universal Library -------------------------------- Measurement Studio Measurement Computing Edition includes the Measurement Computing Universal Library (UL) .NET class library, which is available with installation of the Measurement Computing Mcc Daq driver. Implemented through the MccDaq namespace, this programming library provides classes that contain over 120 methods that perform analog signal measurement, analog signal generation, data logging, digital I/O, counting and timing, and temperature measurement operations with Measurement Computing data acquisition (DAQ) devices. InstaCal is an easy to use installation, calibration and test program that helps minimize the time between set up and actually making measurements MCC DAQ Scan Components -------------------------------- Measurement Studio Measurement Computing Edition includes the Mcc Daq Scan Components .NET class library, which is available with installation of the Measurement Computing Mcc Daq driver. This library includes the AIScan component and AOScan component. These components simplify data processing for scanning operations in the following ways: The AIScan component reads a specified number of analog input samples at the user-specified sampling rate and range of analog input channels on a Measurement Computing device. The AOScan component updates a range of analog output samples at the user-specified update rate and range of analog output channels on a Measurement Computing device. GPIB 488.2 Class Library -------------------------------- Measurement Studio Measurement Computing Edition includes the MCC-488.2 .NET class library, which is available with installation of the Measurement Computing MCC-488.2 driver. This class library contains the following classes: A board class to communicate with Measurement Computing GPIB controllers and boards. A device class for communicating with GPIB instruments. A status class for retrieving status information from the MCC-488.2 library. System Requirements -------------------------------------------------- Microsoft Windows 2000/XP operating system Measurement Studio version 8.0.1 Visual Studio .NET 2003 or Visual Studio 2005 Intel Pentium III class processor, 500 MHz or higher Video display—800 x 600, 256 colors or greater Minimum of 256 MB of RAM (512 MB or higher recommended) Minimum of 50 MB of free hard disk space Microsoft-compatible mouse Installation Instructions -------------------------------------------------- Note: You should install the software before installing your data acquisition hardware.
