and updating of CAC Bullet and Bullet33 device driver.

The procedures described herein assume that the Bullet
hardware is already installed in your system.

This document includes the following sections:

    A. Installing the Device Driver

        - for "First Time" installation.

    B. Updating the Device Driver

        - for upgrades FROM prior software
          releases.

================================
 A. Installing the Device Driver
================================

If this is the first time the Bullet software has been installed
in your system, and board is installed in the computer, Windows
will have opened a "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog
box when you first logged on. If you have already canceled the
Hardware Update Wizard window, open the device manager and scan for
 hardware changes, see steps 1 - 4 and 8 - 10 under "Updating the
 Device Driver"

If you are updating the Bullet software from a prior version,
please read section B, "Updating the Device Driver".

 1. Select the "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)"
radio button and click on the "Next" button of the "Found New
    Hardware Wizard".

 2. Select the "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install"
radio button and click on the "Next" button.

 3. Click on the "Have Disk..." button.

 4. Click on the "Browse..." button and search for win/win2k under the
directory where the CAC software was installed, (the default
directory is c:\cacdsp\win\win2k) and click the "OK" button.

 5. Select the CACDSP SIGNAL PROCESSOR and click the "Next" button.

 B. Updating the Device Driver
==============================

If you are updating the Bullet software from a previous release.

 1. Open the Control Panel from the Windows "Start" button, select
    "Settings" then "Control Panel".

 2. From the "Control Panel" window select and run the "System"
control panel. This will open a window titled, "System
    Properties".

 3. In the "System Properties" window, choose the tab at the top
    labeled "Hardware".

 4. Click on the "Device Manager" button. This will open the "Device
    Manger" window.

 5. In the list of device types displayed there should be an entry
named "CACDSP". Expand the list by clicking the "+" to the left
of "CACDSP". This should reveal one or more devices named,
    "CACDSP" or "BULLETDsp".

 6. For each "CACDSP" or "BULLETDsp" device listed in step 5, right
click on the device and select "Uninstall" from the menu that
appears. Click "OK" in the "Confirm Device Removal" window.

 7. Repeat step 6 for all of the "CACDSP" entries in the "Device
Manager" window. When the last of these is removed if there are
no other devices under "CACDSP", then the "CACDSP" device type
    will also be removed.

 8. In the upper left-hand corner of the "Device Manager" window click
on "Action" and in the menu that appears and select "Scan for
    hardware changes".

 9. The computer will scan for new hardware and should detect the
bullet devices. The devices should then reappear in the list of
devices under the "CACDSP" device type.

10. The Found New Hardware Wizard should be displayed. Follow the
steps under "Installing the Device Driver".
