                 Gamtec sensitive USB gamepad MB-2080

Introduction

Gamtec sensitive gamepad connected to USB port enables you to control the game 
activity by simply tilting it in the direction you want to move and to be the 
first rider out of the gate for high-flying, wheelie-riding, off-road motorbike 
action and combat games. Or, you can switch to digital control, for a traditional
game pad feel.

Installation

Before continuing with installation of the gaming device, it is important to ensure
that Microsoft Direct7.0a or later has been installed in your computer. The latest 
version of DirectX can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site. Then insert the 
attached driver disk and click "setup" , at this point you may be asked for the 
Windows CD. insert the Windows CD and follow the onscreen instructions. After complete
the installation process, the gaming device could now be connected directly to the 
computers USB port or USB Port hub. Click "Start", "Settings", then "Control Panel". 
In the Control Panel click "Gaming Options",  if the "Gamtec usb controller" is listed
under "Gaming Options" and the status is listed as "OK," the hardware is being detected 
properly by the system.

If the Gamtec gaming device is not listed under "Gaming Options," or shows that the 
status is "Not Connected," please refer to the following troubleshooting. 
1.Check the connection of gaming device.
2.Check if the Direct7.0a or later has been installed in your computer
  In the Control Panel click "Gaming Options" and choose "Gamtec USB controller", after
  click its property, it will show the error information that "An error occurred while 
  Windows was working with the Control Panel file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\JOY.CPL". While in 
  the "Sound, video and game control" under "Device Manager" of "System Property" , it 
  shows "HID-compliant game controller"and"Gamtec USB controller", and the yellow "!" 
  is not appeared in the front of "Gamtec USB controller". This means Direct7.0a or later 
  has not been installed in your computer, please make installation.
3.Check if the driver of game device is installed 
  In the "Gaming Options" under Control Panel, the "Gamtec USB controller" does exist, 
  but after click its property, it will show the error information that "do not find 
  the support file in Control Panel". This means the driver of gaming device does not 
  installed successfully, please re-install.

Testing 

Testing of the gaming device is very important in optimizing all the functions of the unit.

Connecting the gaming device directly to the computers USB port or USB Port hub, if the 
"Gamtec usb controller OK" is listed under "Gaming Options," click "properties" then 
enter into testing interface.
A.Test nine fire buttons, the indicator of the fire button should illuminate if the 
  respective fire button is being pressed 
B.Test direction control and analog stick, the cursor for the direction should reach
  all 8-corner of the square and the cursor for the analog stick should be in the center
  of square after stick moved at random.
C.Test sensitivity, press button of "mode" one time, the "mode" indicator illuminate. Rock
  the gaming device in all directions, the cursor in the square should move accordingly.
D.Vibration test, click "vibration" and enter into testing interface, then click "Left 
  force" and "Right force", the vibrator built-in gaming device should shock strongly.

Quit the test as all testing has been completed and the Gamtec sensitive USB gamepad MB-2080 
should now be functional. Then please refer to the game's documentation for instructions on 
setting up controls in the game.

Notice: If the directions effected much too sensitively, you can switch to digital mode(the 
        indicator light off), then set up controls in the game by using directional button 
        (D-PAD). After that, you can revert to sensitive mode (the indicator light on).
