FlashBus Video for Windows VidCap Driver ========================================================================== This is the ReadMe for the FlashBus Video for Windows VidCap driver. See the text of this file for installation instructions, known problems, and general information on this driver release. Installation: 1) The VidCap driver is added to the system during FlashBus installation. You should now be able to use FlashBus with any Video for Windows application. If you need to re-install the driver for any reason, follow steps 2 and 3. 2) Run the DRIVERS applet from the Windows Control Panel. Select 'Add' then 'New or Unlisted'. When prompted for the location, enter the drive and directory of the FlashBus VFW VidCap driver - C:\FLASHBUS\VFW if you did a default installation. Select 'FlashBus VFW'. If a previous version of the driver is already on your system, select 'New' to install the new version from the floppy. 3) Once the driver has loaded, the configuration dialog will appear. Requirements: 1) You must have previously installed the Video for Windows 1.1 runtime files. 2) Your system must support 'On Screen' capture for Overlay to function. General Information: Flash grab can be selected in the video source setup dialog. The flash field delay is set in the video adjustments dialog. Known Problems: 1) The flash will be triggered when exiting the video source dialog if a flash type other than 'None' is selected.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
