This driver has more fixes on it. ver 2.5.2001.0817 - August 17, 2001 Raid10 data corruption issue and power pulling issues are handled. Ver 2.5.2001.0810 - August 10, 2001 Power Pulling issues are completely fixed. This fix includes the method to avoid the Freezing because of the problem in 649 Chip. Heavy IO and Rebuilding under NT is crashing and is fixed. The problem of not updating the logical drive status to offline when we pull the off the drive from degraded array. Hibernation issue fixed. Ver 2.5.2001.0802 - August 2, 2001 Now we are checking for more parameters before we decide on the time at which we should break the 31 seconds wait loop. This solved almost all the crashing problems. Now the driver will avoid all most all the cases of freezing (due to the limitation in the CMD chip that the whole PCI Bus will freeze when we read base status register before we issue bus master stop transfer when we pull the power off the drive. Ver 2.5.2001.0728 - July 28, 2001 We shifted back to issuing the Soft Reset to the drives. But followed the specifications strictly. The possibility of freezing the whole system when we take the power off is avoided completely. Ver 2.5.2001.0710 - July 10, 2001 Instead of issuing hard reset to the drives we are now issuing the reset through the controller and is looking like working for power failure cases properly. Ver 2.5.2001.0627 - June 27, 2001 Test release with 40 seconds delay introduced for hard reset. This was done for the slave disk removal issue you are working on now. Ver 2.5.2001.0618 - June 18, 2001 Rebulding IOCTL was not returning error when source or target drive has been removed. This was fixed Some of the spare drives were exposed to the operating system and is fixed. version 2.5.2001.0608 - June 08, 2001 * The error with Ioctl for erasing error log has been fixed. * The warning message "Bad Firmware detected" displayed in the system event viewer has been removed. * fixed to create Kernel memory dump and reboot. version 2.5.2001.0604 - June 04, 2001 * Model ID and Serial No. of the disks returning garbage info is fixed. version 2.5.2001.0501 - May 01, 2001 * Controller Information now includes Subsystem IDs too. version 2.5.2001.0411 - April 11, 2001 * Added support for some more Subsystem IDs version 2.5.2001.0330 - March 30, 2001 * Modified Interrupt Routine to post commands at the end version 2.5.2001.0328 - March 28, 2001 * Fixed System Crashing when Spy was loading in NT. * Change of implementation for assigning SGL table Pointers. version 2.5.2001.0312 - March 12, 2001 * Programmed MRDMODE for Read Multiple to give 100MB/s transfer rates. version 2.5.2001.0309 - March 09, 2001 * Fixed False report of Drive Size under NT installation * Made the same format for Error Log TimeStamp in NT/2000 and 9x. * Cleaned up code for clarity version 2.5.2001.0307 - March 07, 2001 * Fixed 64K Contiguous Memory Bug with Larger Memory sizes * Spare Drive Connection ID's fixed to be system wide under multiple controller setups. version 2.5.2001.0213 - February 13, 2001 * Freezing on Power/IDE Cable Removal Problem Fixed version 2.5.2001.0125 - January 25, 2001 * Added 4IDs in TxtSetup.OEM & INF files * Removed ATA66/ATA100 from the File Version. * Added Whistler Driver Files version 2.5.2001.0122 - January 22, 2001 * Rewrite of code to fix Large Buffer Error in SRBTest. * Inclusion of Compaq IDs in SubSystemVendorID and SubSystemDeviceID * Inclusion of the same in the INF Files * Fix to report Inquiry Data correctly in serial order (00, 01 etc) version 2.5.2001.0111 - January 11, 2001 * Hardcoded values for IOCTL Codes * Minor Version update to 5 from 4 * Large Buffer Error in SRBTest Fixed version 2.4.2001.0103 - January 03, 2001 * Included Sanity Check in certain functions * Disable Interrupts in Win98 during initialization Version 2.4.2000.1226 - December 26, 2000 * Names Changed to MegaRAID IDE & MegaRAID IDE 100 Version 2.4.2000.1216 - December 16, 2000 * Fixed SRBTest Fail Issue Version 2.4.2000.1208 - December 8, 2000 * WriteCache Disabled by defaultDownload Driver Pack
