Installation:
1. Start MS Windows'95 and click on the 'Start' Icon.
2. Select 'Settings'.
3. Click on 'Printers'.
4. Double click on 'Add Printer'.
5. Click Next for the Add Printer Wizard.
6. Click on 'Have Disk'.
7. Insert the Xerox 3006 printer driver diskette in the
A: drive. Click Browse and select the appropriate language.
Click on OK
8. The Add Printer dialog box displays Xerox 3006. Click
Next.
9. Select the appropriate port. Usually LPT1 for a local printer.
Click Next
10. Select whether or not you want your Windows-based programs to
use the Xerox 3006 as the default Printer. Click Next
11. Select whether or not you wish to print a Test Page. To print
the test page the Xerox 3006 must be connected to your PC.
Click Finish.
12. The Xerox 3006 icon now shows up in the Printers Group
window. Click on the icon with the right mouse button, select
Properties and click on details.
13. Under "Print to the following port:", it should say "LPT1:
(Printer Port)". If it does say Print Port, you can go ahead
and use the printer for printing now. If it says
"LPT1: (ECP Printer Port)", please follow the instruction
below to change your parallel portsetting. The Xerox 3006 is
an not ECP device. Close all windows.
To turn off ECP setting:

1. Click on the Start icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Double click on System.
5. Select Device Manager.
6. Double click on Ports(COM & LPT).
7. Double click on ECP Printer Port.
8. Select Driver.
9. Click on Change Driver.
10. Click on Show all Devices.
11. Under Models, select Printer Port.
12. Click OK.
13. Make sure it says Printer Port under Driver. Click OK
to continue.
14. Click "Close" to close the System Properties window.
15. Close the Control Panel window.
16. Reboot your system for the change to take effect.
Applications
------------
In Lotus 1-2-3, after selecting a document to be printed,
click on the CANCEL button and push the ENTER key to cancel
the print job. The job is not cancelled.
Resolution 150 and 75 dpi
--------------------------
Due to the nature of some fonts they do not print correctly at
lower resolutions. To correct this problem, print the file at
300 dpi.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
