*** Xerox DocuPrint P8e Driver Installation Instructions ***
For Windows 95, 98:
Start --> Settings --> Printers --> Add Printer.
Follow Instructions.
On list of Manufacturers and Printers, click on Have Disk
Click on Browse.
Choose c:\p8e (or directory where unzipped files are located)
The screen should show:
Printers:
Xerox DocuPrint P8e PCL 5e
Click on Next.
Follow instructions.
For Windows 3.1x:
From the Program Manager,
Control Panel --> Printers --> Add
On List of Printers, select
Install Unlisted or Updated Printer
Click on Install.
On Install Driver dialog box, select directory
c:\p8e (or directory where unzipped files are located)
Click on OK.
On Add Unlisted or Updated Printer dialog box, it should read:
List of Printers:
Xerox DocuPrint P8e PCL-5e
Click on OK.
If you want your DocuPrint P8e to be your default printer, set it on the Printers dialog box.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
