  2.Fix problem: If use setup utility to install driver, the device manager will show
    SiS900 LAN adapter as unsigned(No digital signature).
  3.This utility can be run at any time. Do not need OS to find the "PCI Ethernet 
    Adapter" first.

** Summary **
  1.Support more external PHYs on board or ACR for 630S and 730S. The PHY address
    doesn't need to be 1. It can range from 0 to 31.
    The external PHYs has been tested:
    a.ICS 1893
    b.NS DP83846A
    c.AMD am79c874
    d.AMD am79c901

  2.Fix problem: Equalizer value will drop to 0 on SiS630 B0 and B1. The system can
    not connect to other machine in the network now.

  3.Fix problem: The physical layer can not switch from 10Mps to 100Mps successfully.
    (SiS630B0 and B1)       

  4.Fix problem: LAA won't work in Windows 98/98SE/ME.

  1.INF Change: "Signature" line is equal to "$Chicago$",not "$Windows NT$".

  1.Fix problem: Remove dial-up adapter then restart system. Setup.exe will stop at
    75% when installing Windows driver.

  2.Fix problem: Windows 95/OSR2 driver can not be installed successfully because
    "Device Refresh" is not supported by Windows 95/OSR2.

  1.Support SiS635 chipset.
  2.Support SiS900 B0 LAN chip.

  4.Force mediatype if user specify other mediatype than AUTO.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
