Version : 2.11 Introduction ====================== The software of ALN-101 PnP Ethernet adapter contain four part of following: * Quick Install * Install Program * Network Drivers * Setup and Diagnostics Quick Install ============== Quick install procedure is as the followings: 1. Power off the PC. 2. Insert the LAN card into your system, and power on the PC. 3. Run INSTALL in DOS (include Netware server), or OS/2 system, please refer to <Install Program> section. 4. To auto install NetWare Client software, select NetWare DOS ODI Client option. 5. Configure your Network environment, please run the HELP command to understand it. 6. After configure your Network environment, shutdown the system and restart to enjoy it. Install Program ====================== Install program will install the PnP utility for DOS(ACERCP.SYS) and OS2(ACERCP.OS2) to avoid ALN-101 card conflicting with system. * At DOS prompt, type "INSTALL" then press Enter to run install program. * At OS2 system under Full DOS window, type "INSTALL" to run install program. Install program help you to view the ALN-101 PnP LAN Adapter hardware configuration and software installation. To install NetWare client software select NetWare DOS ODI Client option. Select Network Drivers to know network drivers' installation information. Setup and Diagnostic option help you view current configurations and test hardware functions. Before running ACERSET, you should check no any driver is loaded into system.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
