Use IPCONFIG.EXE to configure the Internet Protocol device driver, IPCUST.SYS. Similarly, use IFCONFIG.EXE to configure the Interface device driver,IFCUST.SYS. Please refer to the PC/TCP manual for further information. c) (This step is not required for PC/TCP version 2.10 and later.) After the file, CONFIG.SYS, which resides in the root directory of your startup disk, to install two device drivers, IPCUST.SYS and IFCUST.SYS. Insert the following two lines. DEVICE=[<DRIVE>]\[<PATH>]\IPCUST.SYS DEVICE=[<DRIVE>]\[<PATH>]\IFCUST.SYS NOTE: [<DRIVE>]\[<PATH>] refers to the full pathname of the directory containing the two device drivers. d) Reboot your system to load these configuration files. e) Load the hardware-dependant device driver included in the driver diskette for the network adapter. e.g. A:\PKT\RL2000PD <ÄÄÙ Enter i) Before running PC/TCP applications, please load the Generic Kernel (ETHDRV.EXE), which will exchange information with the network adapter device driver. j) Now, you can start any PC/TCP applications. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
