OVERVIEW
========

EPROLAN.EXE is a self-extracting archive that contains the
NetWare* Server ODI 3.2 spec drivers.  The EPRO311.LAN is 
designed specifically for NetWare 3.11 servers. The EPRO.LAN 
driver in this archive can be used on NetWare 3.12, 4.0x and 
4.10 if the server has not been updated to 3.3 spec NLMs.

The NetWare server driver contained on the directory
\NWSERVER in the Intel Configuration and Drivers diskette
follows the NetWare ODI 3.3 spec and should be used ONLY with 
updated 3.3 spec NLMs from Novell. 


INSTRUCTIONS
============

Copy the file EPROLAN.EXE to your local hard disk.  Change
directories to the location on your local hard disk where
you copied EPROLAN.EXE.  At the DOS prompt type:

eprolan <return>

The file will expand to include EPRO.LAN, EPRO.LDI, EPRO311.LAN
and NW311.TXT. Refer to the readme NW311.TXT to install the
driver.  If using this driver on 3.12 or 4.10, run README.EXE
on the Intel drivers disk, and view the instructions for that 
operating system.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
