OS/2 Warp Connect 3.x Workstation v3.00 IBM OS/2* Warp Connect Workstation Installation Notes for Intel's EtherExpress(TM) PRO/10 ISA LAN Adapter ================================================================= Location of Driver: \NDIS\EPRO.OS2 NEW INSTALLATION ---------------- 1 Install OS/2 Warp as instructed in the IBM installation guide. 2 When prompted to Install Network Support, select Yes. 3 In the IBM Peer for OS/2 window, select Yes, install OS/2 Peer. 4 Enter a Unique workstation name and description when prompted. 5 Enter the name of your existing Domain when prompted. If you do not have an existing domain name to use, use the default IBMPEERS. 6 In the Novell NetWare Client for OS/2 window, select Yes, if your workstation is on a Novell NetWare network. 7 In the Access Internet with Modem window, select No. 8 In the Select Network Adapter Window, select Other Adapter. 9 When prompted for the driver, insert the EtherExpress PRO/10 ISA driver disk and specify the path as A:\NDIS. OS/2 Warp will then copy the driver and add it to the LAN adapter list. 10 From the LAN adapter list, select the EtherExpress PRO/10 ISA and click ADD. 11 Follow through the rest of the OS/2 Warp installation as instructed in the IBM installation guide. OS/2 WARP IS ALREADY INSTALLED ------------------------------ 1 Double-click the MPTS Icon in the OS/2 WARP main program group. 2 From the Multi-protocol Transport Service window, select Configure. 3 From the Configure window, select LAN adapters and protocols and click on Configure. 4 From the LAPS Configuration window, remove the existing installed LAN adapters and protocols. Note: you must remove the protocols before you can remove the LAN adapter. 5 After the LAN adapter and protocols have been removed, select Other Adapters. 6 When prompted for the driver, insert the insert the EtherExpress PRO/10 ISA driver disk and specify the path as A:\NDIS. OS/2 Warp will then copy the driver and add it to the LAN adapter list. 7 From the LAN adapter list, select EtherExpress PRO/10 ISA. 8 Select the protocols being used on your network, and click Add. The default protocol used by OS/2 Warp is IBM OS/2 NETBIOS. Also, if you need support for Novell Netware, add IBM NetWare Requester Support for OS/2. If you need TCP/IP support add IBM TCP/IP. 9 After the LAN adapter and protocols have been configured, select OK to exit. 10 From the Configure window, select Close. 11 From the Multi-protocol Transport Service window, select Exit. 12 When prompted to modify CONFIG.SYS, select Exit to have OS/2 Warp make the modifications for you. 13 Shut-down OS/2 Warp, and reboot for the changes to take effect. * Third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
