PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet LAN ========================= This diskette contains drive programs to allow you to run various network OS with the PCMCIA/CT II Ethernet LAN. Each of the following directories contains a TEXT file which provides you with detailed instructions to install the driver programs. Before you use the driver programs on the diskette, you need to enable PCMCIA Host first. For more informations about Enable program, see your Installation Manual in chapter 3 "Software Installation". The following is explained about Enable Programs. ECARD.EXE file ---- Card enabler/Socket services client for DOS system. ECARDCS.EXE file ---- Card services client for DOS system. ECARDHP.EXE file ---- Socket services enabler for HP Omnibook 300. ECARDOS2.OS2 file ---- Card enabler/Socket services client for OS2 system. TMI.CLB file ---- LAN Card library file for Systemsoft 3.1. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
