Changes to Version 2.03 compared to Version 2.00

* Added support for four modes of operation - Turbo, High, Optimal and Normal:

  The default option is Turbo giving the highest network performance.

  These operational modes can be changed by following the steps given below;

  - Right click on <Network Neighborhood> and select <Properties>
  - Highlight CATC EtherLink Adapter
  - Click on <Properties>
  - Click on <Advanced>
  - Use the pull down menu to see the four options
  - Select the Option needed 
  - Close the dialogue boxes by clicking on OK.
  - Reboot the system
  
  For most of the systems and USB host controllers the default (TURBO) mode
  should work fine.  If network problems are seen, one of the other
  three modes may be tried in the following order: High, Optimal and Normal.

  Turbo gives the highest network performance and Normal gives the lowest network
  performance.

* Fixed several PnP problems

* Fixed hang problem when using Netbeui protocol

* When NetMate and another NIC card, both running IPX/SPX, PnP with NetMate 
  will not work. To work around it, remove the IPX/SPX binding to the NIC card.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
