* IMPORTANT!  Register your Pocket Network Adaptor Now

1. Please register your Pocket Network Adaptor with Grey Cell Systems.
It will only take a few minutes to fill in your registration card and 
return it to us.  The reason we ask you to do so is to keep you up to date 
with our latest drivers and products.  

2. Register your particulars with your Pocket Network Adaptor.
Run the REG.EXE program provided on the DRIVERS disk to register your name 
and company details on a security device inside the adaptor.  This will 
personalise your adaptor and deter theft of the unit.

 ADPCHECK.EXE - Tests your pocket network adaptor
 REG.EXE      - Registers your name and company in the pocket network adaptor
 INS_????.TXT - A readable text file providing you with network installation 
		procedures for the appropriate network drivers.
 OEMSETUP.INF - A network adaptor information file required by the Windows
		for Workgroups installation procedure.
 NETGCS1.INF  - A network adaptor information file required by Windows 95
                network setup utility.
 PROTOCOL.INI - Network configuration file for protocol manager.
 DRIVERS.DOS  - List of ODI supplied drivers for NetWare Common Client

 Grey Cell systems provide network drivers conforming to the NDIS, ODI and 
 packet driver standards.  

 Below is a table of network operating systems and the drivers required to
 allow a network adaptor to work with them.  If your network operating
 system is not listed consult your vendor for driver requirements.

If your network operating system is NDIS, ODI or PD compliant we have 
drivers for you.  If not, consult your network dealer and ask for a network 
upgrade so you will be able to work with either NDIS, PD or ODI.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
