Purpose:

  - The program allows Windows 95 users to load BIOS into the Atmel
         Flash (AT29C512) or Winbond W29EE512 on a ABP940UW 
         (Ultra-Wide SCSI) and ABP950UW  PCI host adpater board, 
         also The program allows Windows 95 users to load BIOS into
         the Atmel Flash (AT29C512) on a ABP940UA (Ultra SCSI) and
         ABP980UA PCI host adpater board.

Functions: 

  - The program loads a new BIOS into the Flash chip of AdvanSys 
	Ultra or Ulra-Wide SCSI host adapters.
  - The program allows Ultra and Ultra-Wide adapters, one after the other,
	to be loaded in the same session.

Process:

  - 	1. The program detects the type of board (Ultra or Ultra Wide SCSI).
	2. The user confirms the new BIOS name.
	3. The program writes in the new BIOS.
	4. After loading, the program checks the new BIOS. 
	4. If there are multiple Flashable AdvanSys adapters in the PC, the 
	   the program lets the user load additional adapters.
	5. The program exits and returns to ADVFLASH subdirectory when the 
	   user is finished loading the BIOS.

  - The following files must be in the same subdirectory.

Instructions:

 - Double click ADVWFLSH.exe file in the ADVFLASH subdirectory.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
