README.TXT Driver File Contents (patch95.zip)

The Windows 95 will not recognize the PCI IDE port, PCI host bridge,
and PCI to ISA bridge on the new 430HX chipset. So after installing
Windows 95, you should copy the two patch files, machine.inf and mshdc.inf,
to the \windows\inf directory.

Then boot to Windows 95 and go to the device manager and delete the
hard disk controller previously installed by Windows 95. Go down to
"system devices" in the Device Manager and delete "PCI standard bridge"
and "PCI standard host CPU bridge." Reboot the system. Windows 95 will find
a new PCI IDE controller, a new Intel Processor to PCI bridge(Triton 2),
and a new Intel Triton 2 to ISA bridge.

If you re-run the setup of Windows 95 again, then you need to repeat the
procedures again.
