This directory contains firmware for the TTP70x0 printers. Before attempting to load firmware, please read this file. This 2005.1.0 release requires certain levels of firmware to be present for all functions to work properly. The requirements are as follows: TTP70x0: Firmware >=2.51 If your printer already has appropriate firmware, you should not need to upload the newer firmware included here. To check the firmware on your printer, print out a self test parameter sheet. You can do this by turning off power to the printer and then holding down the feed button (on the side or back of the printer) while turning power back on. Hold the button down for a few seconds, then release. The firmware is listed in the top portion of the resulting page. EXAMPLE: 1756-251 = Product 1756 (TTP70x0), Firmware 2.51 PLEASE NOTE! NEITHER THIS DRIVER NOR THE 70x0 FIRMWARE INCLUDED HERE ARE INTENDED FOR USE WITH THE TTP7000 PRINTER! ATTEMPTING TO LOAD 70X0 FIRMWARE ON A 7000 WILL RENDER THE PRINTER INOPERABLE! THIS DRIVER WILL ALSO NOT WORK WITH THE 7000 ON ANY FIRMWARE LEVEL! PLEASE ALSO NOTE! Depending on how you have written your application, this new firmware and driver may or may not be fully backward-compatible to older methods of communication with the printer and/or Language Monitor. Before deploying any new firmware or driver to a live system, you MUST TEST FIRST! We cannot be responsible for software malfunction or system instability resulting from incompatible application programming methods. Again, PLEASE TEST ALL RELEASES BEFORE DEPLOYING! To use the firmware loader here: 1. Ensure that your printer is installed as normal on your system. 2. Run the swcloader.exe application. 3. Select your printer from the Printer drop-down box. 4. Click the Select File button and locate the appropriate firmware for your printer. 5. Click the Load as FW button. Firmware uploading may take over a minute. DO NOT interrupt power to the printer during this time, as it may render the printer inoperable. You will know when the upload is complete as the printer will briefly spin the presenter.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
