Windows NT 4.0 Installations Hinweise
--------------------------------------

1.  Stellen Sie die Anzeige zunächst auf den Standard VGA-Modus ein.
    Verwenden Sie nun die FIRE GL 1000 Pro Windows NT Treiber Diskette
    oder die SuperCD.

2.  Öffnen Sie die Windows NT Systemsteuerung.

3.  Wählen Sie den Anzeige Icon.

4.  Wählen Sie Konfiguration ändern.

5.  Wählen Sie ändern.

6.  Wählen Sie Andere.

7.  Geben Sie ein:
       <CD-Laufwerk>:\INSTALL\GRAPHIC\FIRE1kp\ALPHANT4
    oder wählen sie das entsprechende Verzeichnis mit dem Treiber.

8.  Sie werden jetzt aufgefordert, Ihre System Konfiguration zu ändern. 
    Bestätigen Sie.

9.  Wählen Sie anschließend die Option Neu.

10.  Bestätigen Sie den Quell-Pfad.

11.  Um die Aenderungen zu aktivieren, führen Sie bitte einen Neustart 
     von Windows NT 4.0 aus.

Beachten Sie, daß die Standard-Auflösung jetzt 640x480x8 60Hz ist. 

Jetzt können Sie die Auflösung/Farbtiefe via Anzeige Icon in der 
Systemsteuerung ändern. Wählen Sie den "Alle Modi anzeigen" Button.  
Es werden alle verwendbaren Auflösungen mit den entsprechenden Refresh 
Rates angezeigt. Benutzen Sie den Test-Button, um festzustellen,
ob Ihr Monitor die angewählte Auflösung/Refresh Rate unterstützt.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
