Windows For Workgroups
To import the driver after WFW is loaded, follow
these steps:
1. Using the WFW Windows menu, select Network.
2. From the Network setup dialog box, select the
<Networks> button.
3. Select Install Microsoft Windows Network and then
select the <OK> Button.
4. From the Network setup dialog box, select the <Drivers>
button.
5. In the Network Drivers dialog box, select the
<Add Adapter> button.
6. From the list of Add Network Adapters, select Unlisted Or
Updated Network Adapter, and select the <OK> button.
7. Insert the Mariner Installation Disk in drive A and select
the <OK> button.
8. Select Mariner 28.8 Modem/Fax/LAN and select the <OK> button.
9. In the Network Drivers dialog box, select the <Close>
button.
10. In the Network Setup dialog box, select the <OK>
button.
Follow the prompts until a message prompting you to restart
your PC appears.

Installing from the DOS Prompt
1. Insert Artisoft's LANtastic Install Disk 1 of 4
in the floppy diskette drive.
2. Type:
INSTALL
Installing LANtastic from Windows
1. Launch Windows, if it is not already opened.
2. Select Run from the Windows File menu.
3. Type:
A:\INSTALL
If you are using a different drive, use the
letter for that drive.
4. Follow the instructions.
5. Select NDIS Support for Network Adapters.
6. When prompted, remove the LANtastic diskette, insert
the Mariner Installation Disk.
7. After installation is complete, copy MARNDS2.DOS from the
Mariner Installation Disk (A:\) to the hard drive where
LANtastic resides (the default is \LANTASTI).
8. Confirm that the CONFIG.SYS file includes the MARNDS2.DOS driver after
Card and Socket Services.

Banyan VINES 6.0 DOS NDIS
1. Create a subdirectory called \VINES.
2. Copy the contents of the VINES LAN S/W (DOS)
Install diskette into the \VINES subdirectory.
3. Copy the contents of the NDIS subdirectory on
the VINES LAN S/W (DOS) 2 of 2 diskette into
the \VINES subdirectory.
4. Copy the PROTOCOL.INI file from the Mariner
Installation Disk (A:\) subdirectory to the
\VINES subdirectory.
5. Copy the Mariner NDIS driver, MARNDS2.DOS, from
the Mariner Installation Disk (A:\) to the
\VINES subdirectory.
6. Edit the PROTOCOL.INI file to read as follows:

DRIVERNAME = PROTMAN$
[VINES_XIF]
DRIVERNAME = NDISBAN$
BINDINGS = MARNDS2
[MARNDS2]
DRIVERNAME = MARNDSX$
7. Run the PCCONFIG.EXE program located in the
\VINES subdirectory.
8. Select the 'Network Card Settings' option.
9. Select 'NDIS Ethernet' option.
10. The NDIS workstation screen appears. Enter
the IRQ for the Mariner.
11. Verify the following lines in the CONFIG.SYS file
load after Card and Socket Services.

DEVICE = C:\VINES\MARNDS2.DOS
12. Modify the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to execute the BAN command.

Microsoft LAN Manager versions 2.x
The Mariner Installation Disk contains a directory
structure and files that make it an OEM import
disk for the LAN Manager installer. Use the
import function of the LAN Manager installer
to capture the NDIS driver.
DOS installation with LAN Manager 2.2
The following describes the procedure for
importing the driver during installation of
Lan Manager 2.2 for DOS.
1. Launch Lan Manager installation by typing A:SETUP.
2. After reading the Microsoft Drivers diskette,
available Network Adapter Drivers list is displayed.
Choose the following function:
Select Other Driver
3. When prompted to insert your network driver
diskette, insert the Mariner Installation disk.
4. Select the Mariner 28.8 Modem/Fax/LAN Adapter driver.
5. Continue with the remainder of the installation
by next selecting a protocol to use with the
Mariner 28.8 Modem/Fax/LAN Adapter driver.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
