Readme.txt Driver File Contents (3500w95.zip)

    3500W95.ZIP - README.TXT - 7-SEP-1995

    -----

Thank you for purchasing the Digital DEClaser 3500 printer. This
archive contains the additional files necessary for installing a
Windows 95 PostScript printer driver for your DEClaser 3500 printer.

An updated parallel port driver, LPT.VXD, is also included in this
archive which you may need to install. If you have already installed
Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Windows 95 on your system, you do not
need to install this file. Otherwise, copy this file to your
WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, replacing any older file there.

    -----

Use the following steps to install the printer driver.

1. From the Start Button, choose Settings and then the Printers folder.

2. Choose the Add Printer icon in the Printers window.

3. The Add Printer Wizard appears. Click Next, choose Local Printer,
    and click Next again.

4. A list of Printers will appear along with a "Have Disk..." button
to the right. Click the Have Disk... button.

5. A dialog box appears, instructing you to insert the manufacturer's
installation disk. Insert the disk you made during the downloading
procedure, or type the path of the directory where you downloaded
the driver (you can choose the Browse... button if you're not sure
where you put the downloaded files). Then choose the OK button.

6. The Add Printer Wizard then lists "Digital DEClaser 3500".

7. Select "Digital DEClaser 3500" and click Next.

8. Continue following the instructions provided by the Add Printer
Wizard. The Wizard will copy all the necessary files to your hard
drive and load the new printer driver. During the file copy process
you will be asked to supply your original Windows 95 installation
    disks.

If you have installed the Windows 95 CAB files on your hard drive or
on a network share, you can browse to that location and continue. If
you have already installed a PostScript printer driver, you may be
able to simply browse to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory for the
    location of existing system files.
