      BIOS UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS: 


    Before you install the new driver, you should update the video bios first. The file named VGA4148.ROM in this disk is the new BIOS for upgrade.
  
    Pls. refer to the following steps to update the BIOS:

      1.Start your computer from MS-DOS system floppy disk ,or while
      Windows 95 booting, press key 'F8' and select 'Command Prompt Only'
      in the starup menu.

      2.Change to the directory for bios update
         eg. a:>cd bios

      3.Update Bios by running DOSPROM.EXE
         eg. a:bios> DOSPROM VGA4148.ROM

 Note:
      The screen will turn to black (nothing displayed) for about 20 seconds,    pls. wait until the message " PROM Programmed Successfully" is 
      displayed. After that, you can restart your computer to install New Drivers in this disk.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
